HelioDynamics speakers at Upstart Europe

Graham Ford and Andrew Peers of HelioDynamics are participating in the Environmental Panel of Tornado Insider's Upstart Europe Conference in London on the 27th of June 2003. Prior to that, Graham Ford will give the opening presentation beginning at 11:40 a.m. on Friday discussing opportunities and obstacles in Green Energy.

The fourth annual Upstart Europe conference in London on the 26th and 27th of June will bring together Europe's most creative and innovative high-tech players to meet with the industry's established and emerging leaders.

HelioDynamics designed and developed prototypes of two new SOLAR ENERGY technologies, specifically designed to reduce the costs of solar energy to commercially-viable levels without subsidy and to apply solar energy to a much wider range of zero-emission applications, in addition to electricity generation, in both the Industrialised and Developing Economies around the world.

Andrew Peers, BSc Eng, C.Eng, M.I.Mech. Eng. is a former Manager of Global Marketing & JVs for BP Solar (15 years) and member of the advisory board of HelioDynamics.

Graham Ford BA (Cantab) (46 years) is HelioDynamic's Engineering Director.

Graham Ford worked with PA Consulting Group for over 20 years, progressing from a Project Leader to Managing Consultant at the HQ outside Cambridge. PA is considered one of the premier technical consulting firms worldwide.

Among more recent assignments, Ford managed a 15-man team drawn from client personnel, Oxford University and PA to develop a new leading-edge medical device. Prior to that, he managed a team in Cambridge and the US to restructure the R&D division of a multinational consumer products company in the healthcare field.

In addition to a long-standing interest and private commitment to solar energy, Ford brings a wide skill-portfolio to the Company, notably in international product engineering to cost-and-time parameters, materials experience and in phased automation of manufacturing processes.

He has been particularly noted for his focus on budget and delivery issues, for which he has received high commendation.
